The general director of SRI, Francisco Briones, pointed out that the goal of the forum is to analyze and discuss the challenges and opportunities in the implementation of the Cooperative Compliance Program (PCC) in the region, and especially in Ecuador; present the main aspects of PCC and establish a network of contacts and cooperation among participants to strengthen PCC in the country.

Private companies and institutions such as Pronaca, Telefónica de España, the Council of the Judiciary, Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, and unions such as the Guayas Bar Association, the Ecuadorian Business Committee (CEE) and Asobanca, among others, will also participate in this event.

In addition, this forum will allow the presentation of the SRI Cooperative Tax Compliance Program, which, with the support of the IDB, seeks to strengthen the culture of tax compliance and promote methodical cooperation between large taxpayers and the tax administration. The Compliance Cooperation Program (CCP) is an instrument to guide the relationship of tax administrations with large, low tax risk companies that wish to join the program.
