Strategic investments in nations of the Pacific Alliance promoted in New York

Last Thursday the Pacific Alliance CEO Sustainable Summit 2023forum organized by the Pacific Alliance Business Council (CEAP) and the Dorado Investments. The event brought together 200 agents and investors from New York and sought to promote investment opportunities in this economic bloc; with a long-term vision.

During your participation, Rosario Navarropresident of the Chilean chapter of CEAP, He highlighted that the Pacific Alliance has liberalized 92% of our interregional trade. In addition, he said that the bloc as a whole represents the eighth largest economy in the world and the sixth largest exporter with 233 million people. The official highlighted that the Pacific alliance represents 43% of GDP, and attracts 45% of foreign direct investment.

For its part, Pink Well, pro tempore president of CEAP and the Peru Chapter, underlined the importance of promoting large investments, strengthening ESG criteria.

In the business forum that had the executives of JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and LarraĆ­n Vial as speakers, as well as the Minister of Economy and Finance, Alex Contreras. The latter highlighted the fstrengths of this economic bloc for its diverse investment opportunities before the audience of American investors.

At another time, Juan Carlos Mathews, Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, emphasized the importance of private investment for the country and for the economic bloc in general. The President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, closed the forum.
