Continuing with the process of returning deposits to clients of the Caja Rural de Ahorro y Crédito Raíz (CRAC Raíz) in liquidation, this Thursday, September 21, the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) published a fourth list that includes 311 clients with savings deposits, fixed term and compensation for time of service (CTS) for S/6 million 509,226.
These depositors correspond to the so-called clients with “type 2 information”. This refers to information that presented problems or inconsistencies that did not allow full identification of clients.so they had to resort to official bases such as the National Registry of Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) or the records that clients filled out to open their accounts.
The complete list can be reviewed at the following link: www.sbs.gob.pe/crac-raiz-en-liquidacion.
With the first three lists and the first part of the fourth, S/703 million 122,530 are being returned, an amount that represents 98.1% of the total deposits that are covered by the Deposit Insurance Fund (FSD) and that correspond to 37,479 depositors.
Depositors from the fourth list and those from the first three, who have not yet completed the procedure, can approach the agencies of the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) and present only their DNI or their immigration card. Please note that this refund is not subject to any commission or cost, nor is it necessary to hire the services of processors.
For any additional queries, users can contact the SBS toll-free number, 0800-10840 (Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 5.30 pm).
