A month ago, the Arcos Dorados franchise, the operator of the McDonald’s brand, opened a new facility in Quito, and now it has done so in Guayaquil with the opening of its 33rd restaurant.
This new location will open this Wednesday, September 20 in the afternoon, and is located on Avenida Francisco de Orellana, near the new Mall del Norte, and has a space of 345 square meters and a capacity for 70 people. Under the concept of “Guayaquil I Love It” it joins the sectors of Mucho Lote, Las Orquídeas, Vergeles, Huancavilca, among others nearby.

With this opening, the brand ensures that it consolidates itself as one of the biggest generators of youth employment in the country: more than 90% of its associates are between 18 and 25 years old. In Ecuador, the brand employs more than 1,900 people, according to the chain’s press release.
The general manager of Arcos Dorados Ecuador -McDonald’s-, Gina Castagneto, confirms that the company is committed to continued growth and investment since Ecuador is a country of great importance. “We have great customer acceptance, great suppliers and the ability to deliver unique experiences.”
He also reminded that the company contributes to society through community and environmental impact programs.
The opening of Mall del Norte is a business opportunity for growth
The new location includes classic cash registers and four digital kiosks for self-management of orders with touch-sensitive technology. On the other hand, it offers a range of services that include a children’s playground, McCafé, McDelivery, all the “order and collect” functionality of the McDonald’s mobile app and the dual-lane Automac that caters for vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles and any other wheeled means of transport.
In addition, there is free access to Wi-Fi, charging points for mobile devices and computers, and a water fountain is provided for pets because the brand pet friendly.
Arcos Dorados opened its first location in Ecuador 26 years ago, and with this latest opening, it has a total of 114 points of contact: 33 restaurants, 18 Automac, 45 Dessert centers and 18 McCafés across the country.
