Currently, they have decreased dramatically. The question is, why do they mean that the State is not capable of managing these fields, and they want to hand over other legal contracts to these companies that have done nothing,” said Palacios.
In this sense, the legislator said that the Peru Libre bench has resolved to “defend the country’s energy sovereignty” and its “energy resources.”
For his part, the general secretary of the National Hydrocarbons Federation (Fenahid), Carlos Castro Cardoza, asserted that the Government must have a clearer position on the destination of the lots in question “and in favor of national interests”, which is why which will carry out a nationwide march on September 27.
