Fuels: reference prices increased by up to S/1.75 per gallon in the last 6 months

In the last six months, the preference prices of the main fuels have mostly experienced a slight variation, although some of them have registered notable increases, even exceeding S/1.70 per gallon, according to data provided by the Supervisory Body for Investment in Energy and Mining (Osinergmin).

In the period from March 20 to September 18, 2023, the B5 low sulfur diesel led the increase by advancing by S/1.75, reaching a price of S/12.54 per gallon. In contrast, the bottled LPG or for domestic use registered the smallest variation, reaching S/2.33, after an increase of S/0.09 per kilogram.

For its part, the reference price of the premium gasoline increased from S/10.03 to S/11.32, which represented an increase of S/1.29 per gallon. Likewise, the regular gasoline experienced an increase of S/0.98, reaching S/10.62 per gallon, while the 84 octane gasoline It rose by S/0.33, standing at S/9.14 per gallon.

In the gasohole group, the premium gasohol increased by S/1.23 and was quoted at S/11.25 per gallon. For his part, the regular gasohol was positioned at S/10.61 after an increase of S/0.95, and the 84 octane gasohol experienced an increase of S/0.34, reaching S/9.24 per gallon.
