Regarding destinations, the Latin American market is positioned as the main recipient of knowledge-based services, with a 65% share, followed by the United States, Mexico and Canada, which together represent 15%. The European Union and Asia, for their part, have 15% and 5% participation, respectively.

The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (Promperú) reported that during the first quarter of 2023, service exports exceeded US$1,228 million.
