Ana María Choquehuanca de Villanueva was born on November 2, 1958, in Arequipa. She studied Economics at the Catholic University of Santa María and has a master’s degree in Administration from the Spenta University, in Mexico. Before assuming as Minister of Production, she was the president of the Association of Small Business Unions of Peru and vice president of Confiep.
