Minister Raúl Pérez-Reyes leaves the Production and As of this afternoon, he assumes the title of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), according to the decision of President Dina Boluarte. Pérez-Reyes arrives in place of the outgoing economist Paola Lazarte Castillo, who has been in charge of the MTC since last December 13, 2022.

It is not the first time that he has arrived at the MTC, since before he was Vice Minister of Communications between August 2011 and December 2014. In addition, he served as Vice Minister of Energy between March 2015 and February 2017.
