Dollar in Peru: exchange rate closed at S / 4,0800 this Tuesday, December 7

The price of the dollar closed down and stood at S / 4,0800 in operations on Tuesday, December 7. The greenback started the day at S / 4.0780, as reported by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

In this way the price of the dollar decreases its price by 0.15% compared to the close of last Monday, December 6, when it stood at S / 4.0860. The purchase in the parallel market was located at S / 4.06 and the sale at S / 4.09. As for the price of the dollar in the main windows of the country, the purchase and sale of S / 4,093 stands at S / 4,072.


During the day the entity issuer went on the market to sell US $ 3 million at an average exchange rate of S / 4.0800 per dollar to attenuate the volatility of the currency. In addition, it placed exchange swaps for US $ 90 million and interest rate swaps for 50 million.

This occurs while Congress today debates the vacancy motion against President Pedro Castillo proposed by three congressional benches: Fuerza Popular, Avanza País, Renovación Popular and Fuerza Popular.
