Although she did not rule out importing this citrus fruit, it will be a decision to be made with the Minister of Economy and Finance. The Midagri owner recalled that in 2017, due to the El Niño phenomenon, there was also a shortage and lemons cost S/25 per kilo.

“If this week I hoped to prepare a ceviche, I substitute a salted chicken. In the case of cevicherías, they can do a little more than rice with seafood or with a tender of chicharrón de squid. If there is no demand, what will happen is that the price will adjust, ”he explained on the Latina program ‘Punto final’.
