The public development bank BanEcuador continued the delivery of 1×30 loans, with an interest rate of 1% and a term of 30 years.
The 1×30 loan is placed in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) -agricultural and livestock loans-, the Ministry of Industry and Production -loans for trade, services, small industry, crafts, artisanal fishing, fish farming-, the Ministry of Social Inclusion (MIES) -with loans for trade, livestock, agriculture, small industry, services and crafts-.
To date, BanEcuador has delivered $278 million through 1×30 credit, 65% of which has targeted women. It is expected to deliver another $40 million by the end of 2023 for a total of $315 million.
