The Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion, Betssy Chavez, reported that the eleventh list of beneficiaries of the Let’s Recover Formal Employment subsidy will support, this time, a total of 17,241 jobs in the private sector
This time, 6,165 companies benefit, of which 3,029 have up to 10 workers (49.1%); 2,479 have from 11 to 100 workers (40.2%); 515 register from 101 to 500 workers (8.4%); and 142 have 501 more workers (2.3%).
To pay for this subsidy, corresponding to September of this year, 4 million 045 thousand 925 soles will be allocated. Of that figure, 1 million soles will be used to subsidize jobs for young people between 18 and 24 years old; and 3 million soles to people aged 25 and over.
By economic sectors, 3,301 jobs belong to services rendered to companies; 2,406 to trade; 2,186 to manufacturing; 1,989 to teaching; 1,719 to construction; 1,470 to transport and communications; 1,240 to social, community and personal services; and 1,164 to hotels and restaurants, among others.
Also, by region, 11,323 jobs (65.7%) belong to Metropolitan Lima; 865 are from Arequipa; 698 of La Libertad; 621 from Callao; 377 from JunÃn; 369 from Ancash, 356 from Piura; 308 from Ica; in addition to others.
The employers included in this list must manage the disbursement of the subsidy provided that, previously, they accredit in the Virtual Comprehensive Window of the Insured – VIVA of the Social Health Security – EsSalud the fulfillment of the essential conditions established in paragraph 9.2 of article 9 of the Decree of Urgency No. 127-2020, which promotes specific measures to recover and preserve formal employment in the private sector.
