How much does a kilo of lemon cost?

The Republic obtained information from the lemon price in the different regions of Peru: north, center and south. In the north, for example, where more than 50% of national production is concentrated, the increase has not been the exception.

In southern cities, like Arequipa, Tacna, Cusco and Puno, the cost has risen to double. In the first, second and third, the kilo is S/10, when the regular was S/5. Meanwhile, in Puno, the kilo is offered between S/10 and S/12, unlike the S/7 it cost.
