Let’s recover formal employment: a new list of companies that will receive subsidy was approved

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) approved the new list of eligible employers who have qualified for the assignment of the subsidy created by Emergency Decree No. 127-2020, which aims to recover formal employment in the private sector. This list corresponds to the month of September 2021.

In this way, the employers included in this list will be able to manage the disbursement of the subsidy provided that, previously, they accredit in the Virtual Comprehensive Window of the Insured – VIVA of the Social Health Security (EsSalud), the fulfillment of the indispensable conditions.

The amount of the subsidy assigned to each company is calculated based on a percentage of the gross monthly salaries of discharged workers (new hires, returns of workers from the perfect suspension or from the licenses without benefits) and discharged, provided that their salaries do not exceed 2,400 soles.

As of November, the MTPE reported that 26,760 companies were benefited with the subsidy “Let’s recover formal employment,” which allowed 122,272 workers not to lose their jobs.
