On Facebook, a page called Información Peru published a post in August that apparently promotes a “1,200 Bonus” for the year 2023. The attached image contains a logo that says “Government of Peru” and also redirects to a link external to “claim” the subsidy. However, the announcement is information false.

There is no record of any “1,200 soles bonus” in Peru
First of all, a review by keywords showed us that there is no indication regarding an alleged “S/1,200 Bonus”. There are no official records that indicate the delivery of the apparent subsidy at present by the Peruvian State.
We only detected a note from the Ministry of Health dated in September 2014in which a bonus of 1,200 soles is announced for personnel “who perform the position of head of health networks” in the country.
For its part, the link attached to the publication redirects to the Bonos Perú website, which talks about an “Economic Support Program for Working Mothers: Bonus of 1,200 Soles.” There, it is indicated that the bonus would be intended for “those mothers who work in the informal sector”, and that, to collect it, they must go to the “Social Development Office” of their locality. The portal It is not an official site of the Peruvian Governmentso we recommend not entering it.
The Verifier of La República contacted the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion. Sources from the entity confirmed that the Midis is not distributing any bonuses.
Likewise, the text of the apocryphal web page is similar to that of a hoax that we previously denied, about a false bonus of S/1,200 for “single mothers”. On that occasion, it was also a case of clickbaitin order for users to enter a website of dubious origin.
The “list of surnames” to obtain Spanish nationality is false
Conclusion
It is not true that the Government of Peru is distributing a “1,200 Soles Bonus”. There are no official records of this alleged subsidy. In addition, the post redirects to an unofficial website that promotes a subsidy “for working mothers” that does not really exist, as confirmed by the Midis. Consequently, Verificador de La República qualifies this publication as false.
