Continuing with the process of returning deposits to the clients of the Rural Savings and Credit Fund Raíz (CRAC Raíz) in Liquidation, which are covered by the Deposit Insurance Fund (FSD), the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS) reported that this Wednesday, August 23, A second list of 6,933 depositors (11.78% of the total that have coverage) has been published for an amount of S/76.3 million.
This second list, which includes natural persons with savings accounts and term deposits, as well as compensation deposits for length of service (CTS), can be consulted through the institutional portal of the SBS (www.sbs.gob. pe/crack-root-in-liquidation).
The depositors included in this second list —and those in the first list who have not yet carried out the process— can approach the agencies of the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) presenting only their DNI or their immigration card. The SBS reminds that this return is not subject to any commission or cost, nor is it necessary to contract the services of processors.
What if I’m not on the list?
Natural persons who maintain joint accounts or debts with CRAC Raíz in Liquidation will be included in the next lists. If a depositor is not in the first or second list, they must wait to try in the following dayswhen they are updated as the information gathering process progresses.
The first list included 26,435 clients with savings accounts and term deposits (44.89% of the total that has FSD coverage) for a covered amount of S/489.7 million.
