In “She Came to Me” she plays Magdalena. And in accordance with the unwritten rule in Hollywood for many years, her heroine is a cleaner. The film tells the story of composer Steven (Peter Dinklage), who struggles with a creative block. He has little time to complete the opera, so his wife, Patricia, a psychotherapist, sends him for a walk to regain his inspiration. While walking along the Brooklyn waterfront, he meets Katrina, who lives on a boat moored in the harbor. After a one-night stand, he manages to complete the assignment, while Patricia’s son falls in love with Magdalena, who is tired and trying to make ends meet.

The film premiered at the Berlinale.
