It is important to highlight that Yape will replace the Soli Payments application, which has more than 800,000 users and processes around 5 million transactions per month. In addition, Bolivian users They will be able to yape, recharge their cell phone, pay with QR and pay for basic services through the app.

“The Bolivian payment ecosystem with QR has grown to 10 million transactions in recent months. With Yape we want to maximize that potential and increase transactions fivefold in a year,” added Morales.

In Peru, one in three adult Peruvians has Yape and more than 220 million transactions are made per month. Apart from its essential functions, such as QR payments and mobile recharges, Yape also offers interoperability with other wallets, online purchases, the payment button, loans and promotions, providing a complete and practical financial experience.
