New AFP 2023 withdrawal: what’s next in the new congressional commission on the proposal?
The new one Economy Commission for the annual period of sessions 2023-2024 is made up of Cesar Revilla Villanueva (Popular Force), who assumed the presidency; Second Montalvo Cubas (Free Peru), as Vice President; and Alejandro Cavero Alva (Avanza País), as secretary.
Now, it will be up to these parliamentarians to discuss and debate the bills that pose a new withdrawal of AFP funds. Other voices, such as that of the Peru Libre congressman, America Gonza Castillohave emphasized their intention to promote the restitution of the item on the agenda for “the granting of free availability of savings by workers registered in the private pension system”as well as a reform of the same.
