Real Sociedad greeted footballer Zakharyan in Russian
Management of the Spanish club Real Sociedad on Instagram (banned in Russia; owned by Meta Corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned) addressed the midfielder of the Russian national team Arsen Zakharyan in Russian.
“Welcome, Arsen Zakharyan,” the press service of the player’s club greeted. Real Sociedad head coach Imanol Alguacil said that Zakharyan is capable of playing in many positions and has a great future.
Zakharyan moved to Real Sociedad on 19 August. The contract with the 20-year-old midfielder is for five years until the end of the 2028/29 season.
Before that, the athlete played for Dynamo Moscow for three years. This season he has played five matches for Muscovites in all competitions, in which he scored two goals and gave one assist. Portal Transfermarkt estimates the value of the Russian at 15 million euros.
