Since when will it be possible to travel Lima-London?
LATAM Airlines Peru announced that this operation can be performed starting Friday, December 1 of 2023, with a frequency of five times a week, which would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
“We are very happy for the start of this operation. With our direct flights to London Heathrow International Airport, we became the first Peruvian airline to fly directly to London (…). Added to the wide deployment of the start of operations in the last months of the year, it continues to strengthen our commitment to the country and Peruvians,” said Manuel van Oordt, CEO of LATAM Airlines Peru.
How long does the journey take? Lima-London?
The flights between the Peruvian capital and London have so far an estimated time of between 12 to 13 hours, which will be carried out through a modern fleet of Boeing 789 aircraft. The capacity of these planes is 300 people in total: 30 passengers would occupy the Premium Business cabin and 270 would do the same in Economy. This stretch covers an approximate distance of 6,365 miles.

According to information on the LATAM Airlines website, the one-way trip to London costs US$711.27; while the return has a cost of US$922.52. These amounts would be equivalent to S/2,648 and S/3,434, respectively.

From November 2022, this document is not required to go to this city in the United Kingdom.
