Gastronomy and technological innovation came together at a meeting of member companies of the Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Culture, digital transformation strategy, application of new technologies (AI), among others, are the topics dealt with by member companies of the Alliance for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (AEI) that met on Tuesday, August 15 in Guayaquil, where gastronomy was also discussed through innovative ventures.

AEI in Ecuador consists of a network of public, private and academic actors that seek to promote entrepreneurship and innovation as a basis for the country’s productive development. The alliance began in 2013 and has since supported more than 15,000 entrepreneurs, generating more than 3,325 jobs and $96 million in sales.

Meanwhile, in this recent meeting, after the last one held last July in Quito, representatives of companies such as Mall del Sol, Nobis, Corporación Favorita, Lexvalor, Bodega Dos Hemisferios, Olé, Industria Alimenticia Oriental, Diario EL UNIVERSO, among others, divided and divided into two groups to participate in the dynamics of the workshop, led by business leaders.

In the gastronomic area, five entrepreneurs from a traditional Panamanian street presented their dishes to an expert jury. The winners will receive technical assistance and will be promoted as representatives of Guayaquil gastronomy.

At the technology table, leaders from various companies shared learning experiences and success stories. Explored more about the Aeinnova program, where initiatives to strengthen technological innovation in development processes are promoted.

Andrés Zurita, CEO of AEI, explained why gastronomy and innovation are two key axes for strengthening the competitiveness of our entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem.

Natalia Almeida, Deputy Director of AEI, emphasized the willingness of all participants to cooperate and invited them to continue working together to discover positive impacts on the ecosystem and the country.
