Petroperú announced that it will extend its opening hours at the Talara, Iquitos, Mollendo, Conchán and Tarapoto sales plants during the month of December, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The initiative, which is part of the program From the plant to your tank, seeks to optimize the supply of fuels nationwide and improve the service of its wholesale customers.
In this regard, the state company mentions that the new schedules will contribute to the efficient supply of fuel to the service stations that are part of the Petroperú Network, as well as to the industries.
Petroperú inaugurates seawater treatment plant in Talara refinery
On the other hand, Petroperú announced the launch of the Capture, desalination, seawater treatment plant in the New Talara Refinery, whose construction presents a comprehensive progress of 96.54%.
“The start of activity of said plant will allow 46,500 m3 / h of seawater to be treated through a reverse osmosis process for purification and subsequent use in the operation of the firefighting system, in the steam generation boilers and in the cooling system, necessary for the start-up and operation of the Process Units of the new refinery complex ”, he indicated in a press release.
In addition, he mentioned that the water that has had contact with hydrocarbons will be treated later in the Industrial Effluent Treatment Unit, which has a capacity of 400 m3 / h.
