O Chelsea continues to strengthen in this transfer window. This time, the Londoners are close to bringing in midfielder Michael Olise, who plays for Crystal Palace.
According to the Sky Sports, the club paid its release clause, which was 35 million pounds (about R$ 221 million in current exchange rates). Chelsea are now in direct talks with the 21-year-old.

Now, there are only details left for Olise to get right with the Blues. It is worth remembering that the Frenchman is recovering from surgery due to a hamstring injury. Therefore, it may take him longer to make his debut for the team.
On the last Premier League, Olise stood out as one of Crystal Palace’s top playmakers. The midfielder distributed 11 assists during the competition, in addition to also scoring twice.
If the deal is completed, this will be Chelsea’s seventh reinforcement in the window. The club has already brought in goalkeeper Robert Sánchez, defender Axel Disasi, midfielders Moisés Caicedo and Lesley Ugochukwu, attacking midfielder Christopher Nkunku and forward Nicolas Jackson.
