He Government set this Sunday, August 13, the amount of the Income Unit of the Public sector for the year 2024 and kept the same amount of S/2,600 that he had in recent years.
According to Supreme Decree No. 094-2023-PCMpublished this Sunday 13 in El Peruano, lThe unit is used to calculate and determine the income of high officials and State authorities, as established in Article 3 of Law No. 28212, which regulates said amounts and dictates other measures.
It also specifies that the unit is used to calculate the income of public officials included in article 52 of Law No. 30057Civil Service Law, whose economic compensation has not been set in accordance with the provisions of the last paragraph thereof.
The aforementioned decree is endorsed by the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte; the head of the ministerial cabinet, Luis Alberto Otárola; and the head of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Alex Contreras.
