BCP will be in charge of the refund to savers
For his part, he Deposit Insurance Fund (FSD) reminded CRAC Raíz depositors that their deposits are protected up to the maximum amount of coverage, which amounts to S/123,920 per depositor.
In this sense, the depositors of the CRAC Root they will be able to collect the coverage provided by the FSD, through the offices of the Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) at the national level. However, in the coming days the date from which they will be able to approach the bank to collect the aforementioned coverage will be announced.
It is important to point out that savers of CRAC Root They do not need to register on any list, nor make any payment to have coverage, since their depositors are automatically insured for the maximum amount of S/123,920.
Likewise, the payment of the coverage will be made in soles. However, in the case of insured deposits in foreign currency, the exchange rate of the day prior to the intervention of CRAC Root.
