What are the requirements to change a torn bill?
You must have more than 50% of the ticket. This part must have the ink that changes color, the watermark and the security thread, as well as at least one of its series and numbering. Finally, it is required to contain the front and back of the cash.
How and where to exchange a damaged ticket?
These can be changed at any window of any entity in the financial system, including rural savings banks. There you will have to present your ticket, which must meet all the requirements. Subsequently, the change will be made. It should be remembered that there is no minimum or maximum amount to carry out this process, only the process will take longer to verify.
What banks can change broken banknotes?
