National cooperatives project that by end of 2023 they will place approximately S/500 million in credits for natural persons and micro and small business (Mypes), according to Aída Aguirre Higa, general manager of the Kuria Group Private Investment Fund.
“The average number of loans granted by cooperatives in the country ranges from US$6,000 to US$100,000 to individuals and mypes, betting on Peruvian entrepreneurship,” Aguirre highlighted in the framework of the Nikkei – Gochiso Gastronomic and Cultural Festival that took place last weekend.

The Kuria Group began operating in 2023 as consultancies for the alternative stock market, then they implemented advice for financing and formed a cooperative kuracoop. This association has offices both locally and in Piura, Chiclayo, Trujillo, Lima (with locations in Chacarilla, Jesús María and Pueblo Libre), Ica, Arequipa, Cusco and Huancayo, as well as abroad, in Miami (United States).
