The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) reported that S / 31 million 570,704 were allocated to the Apurimac region for the execution of six water and sanitation projects and neighborhood improvement.
These works are part of four water and sanitation projects in rural areas for a value of S / 23 million 725,670 and two of neighborhood improvements such as tracks, sidewalks, parks, sports courts, among others, for which a total of S / 7 million 845,034 has been assigned as part of the plan of economic reactivation Peru in progress.
The six works of this project will improve the quality of life of more than 5,000 inhabitants and will generate about 640 jobs. The provinces of Andahuaylas, Antabamba, Cotabambas, Chincheros and Aymaraes will benefit, and will be executed by the district municipalities of Huancaray, Sabaino, Mara, San Juan de Chacña and Cocharcas.
Another of the projects to be executed is the improvement and expansion of water services and sanitation in populated centers and annexes of the Sabaino district, Antabamba province. This has a budget that amounts to S / 8.6 million and will be about 1,240 beneficiaries. In addition, there is the execution of tracks and sidewalks in the urban area of Cocharcas, in the province of Chincheros, whose investment amount exceeds S / 7.2 million. This intervention will benefit about 1,260 residents.
