Banks with deferred hours will attend during the local holiday for the Quito festivities

The Association of Private Banks of Ecuador recommended that citizens check which entities have this type of schedule.

The banks will attend the public this Monday, December 6, a local holiday in Quito for their founding parties.

The banks will provide their service in person at the offices that have deferred hours.

The Association of Private Banks of Ecuador (Asobanca) recommended that citizens check which entities have this type of schedule.

“For this reason, we recommend that before you go, check with the official channels of the bank which are the agencies under this modality,” said Asobanca.

In addition, users will have at their disposal other channels to carry out their transactions normally: the network of ATMs nationwide, non-bank correspondents (in stores, micro-markets, pharmacies, among others) and digital channels (virtual banking, applications mobile) that the private banking system has.

The banking service in the rest of the country will develop normally, because it is a local holiday, not a national one.

“For security and to avoid being exposed to COVID-19 infections, we suggest that customers prefer the use of digital channels, as they allow regular transactions to be carried out easily, quickly and safely 24 hours a day and without leaving home”, Asobanca said. (I)
