The Energy Social Inclusion Fund (FISE) continues to benefit more families nationwide with the delivery of discount vouchers for the purchase of a gas cylinder. In June, the Government expanded the range of energy consumption, from 42 KWh to 70 KWh, which means that more households in Lima, Callao and the Norte Chico will have access to the FISE voucher.
This benefit grants a monthly discount of S/25.00 for households and S/43.00 for schools, canteens and common pots, in order to buy a domestic LPG gas cylinder of up to 10 kg.
The discount voucher comes automatically on the household electricity bill. Families can also check if they are beneficiaries through the WhatsApp number (939 605 111 – option 5).
In the case of institutions, they must request their affiliation in the municipality of their district. Once they are affiliated, they will be able to request the voucher through a free SMS to 38383 with the word “vale”.
What are the requirements for households to access the FISE discount voucher?
According to Enel, these are the requirements to access the ok FISE.
- Do not live in areas where there are natural gas networks.
- The annual household income must not exceed S/19,900.
- The average energy consumption of the last year must be less than or equal to 70 kWh.
- It must have a gas stove and that it works with LPG balloon.
- The material of the floor of the house must comply with the characteristics (cement floor, earth, wood).
