Several days ago, the payment of the month of July to the pensioners of the Pension Standardization Office (ONP) began, according to the schedule published by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). As is public knowledge, the Banco de la Nación is the entity in charge of making this payment and below, we show you the monthly schedule that will be applied in the remainder of 2023, according to the initial letter of the retiree’s paternal surname. ONP: When are the gratuity and pension delivered?
According to the schedule approved by the ONP, payments to pensioners and retirees in Peru have already begun. The payment schedule is according to the initial of the last name to maintain a strict order at the time of collecting the salary. This month of July, the salary includes the Christmas bonus for national holidays, which since July 7 has been delivered to all the insured who belong to the aforementioned decree. Said bonus is equivalent to the amount of their initial pension. It is worth mentioning that the economic benefit is deposited in their bank accounts to be withdrawn whenever they wish.
ONP: how much is the Christmas bonus for national holidays?
In accordance with Supreme Decree No. 150-2023-EF, the amount of the Christmas bonus for the month of July was set at S/300 and it is collected by all workers and retirees belonging to the public sector. Similarly, the inmates of Human Medicine and Dentistry they receive a bonus of S/100, within the framework of the Second Final Complementary Provision of Emergency Decree No. 016-2020.
