More than 3,700 families accessed Techo Propio in June: know the requirements

This number of bonds represents the best monthly result so far in 2023, and translated into a disbursement of S/126.2 million. We tell you how to access this subsidy.

He Ministry of Housing Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) reported that during June of this year, through the MIVIVIENDA Fundgranted 3,708 family housing bonds of the own roof programin its New Housing Acquisition (AVN) and Own Site Construction (CSP) modalities.

This number of bonds represented a disbursement of S/126.2 million; of which S/109 million corresponded to the CSP modality and benefited
3,310 families, who will be able to build a house on their own land or on their own. Similarly, S/ 17.1 million were invested in the
AVN modality, with which 398 beneficiaries will be able to buy a social interest home.

The largest number of own-roof housing vouchers were delivered in the northern and central regions of the country —1,166 and 1,161,
respectively—, followed by the eastern regions, with 1,060 bonds granted; the south, with 200; and Lima and Callao, with 126.

How to access the Techo Propio Program?

The requirements that a family must meet to access the program are the following:

Form a Family Group (GF):

  • To buy housing: it is made up of a head of family who will declare one or more dependents, who can be his wife, his partner, his children, brothers or grandchildren under 25 years of age or children over 25 years of age with disabilities, their parents or grandparents.
  • To build or improve: it is made up of a head of family who will declare one or more dependents, who can be his wife, his partner, his children, brothers or grandchildren under 25 years of age or over 25 years of age with disabilities, their parents or grandparents.
  • For the purchase of a home: the Monthly Family Income (IFM) must not exceed S/3,141 and in cases of prioritized VIS it must not exceed S/2,071.
  • For construction of a house: the Monthly Family Income (IFM) must not exceed the S/2,266.
  • For home improvement: the Monthly Family Income (IFM) must not exceed the S/2,266.
  • Not having previously received housing support from the State.
  • If they want to buy a home, they will not be able to have another home or land nationwide.
  • If they want to build or improve their home, they must be the owners of the property where the work will be carried out, and it must be registered in the Public Registries without charges or encumbrances, and they must not have other land or housing nationwide.
