What is latency and why is it important to be lower?
Latency is that which directly affects the response capacity and the quality of communication in real-time applications. Thus, the lower it is, it will allow a more fluid and fast interaction between the different devices.
“Maintaining a service with low latency is important given the current demands of users. We all carry out operations digitally and we need an Internet that allows us to quickly upload and download files, that optimizes our experience with different applications, with streaming, online TV and video games”, highlighted Jáuregui.
