He Bank of the Nation (BN) has reported that it has been working on rapid methodologies that allow it to get closer to the citizen. This is how the reception that the platform has had stands out Págalo.pea digital tool that simplifies the payment of rates and services of various State entities.

Currently, 84% of Banco de la Nación’s transactions are carried out through its alternative channels and not only in the physical agencies that we have”, indicated Carlos Quevedo Juárez, in charge of the BN Digital Banking Management during the International Seminar on Digital Transformation and Innovation for State Identification and Services – RENIEC 2023.

He also pointed out that around 700,000 virtual transactions are carried out monthly through the online tool.

“In 2017 we started with 6 entities and around 60 rate concepts and we felt that the citizen was grateful for this type of services that the state provided them and we grew along the way, until today they can pay more than 500 items from 29 entities, carrying out around 700,000 monthly fee payment transactions through Págalo.peQuevedo added.

Finally, it was reported that it is expected to enhance the platform and integrate various institutions such as public universities to guarantee a good experience of access to financial services.
