What was the fastest mobile network in Peru in June? Find out according to Osiptel

The Supervisory Agency for Private Investment in Telecommunications (Osiptel) It is in charge of regulating the services offered by the different Internet and telephone service operators. For this reason, they carry out a monthly report prepared with more than 150 million measurements in 600 districts nationwide. In it, they analyze the main indicators of 4G networks, such as average speed, latency, coverage time and packet loss. In this sense, in this note, we tell you which network was the fastest during the month of June, according to the institution.

What was the fastest mobile internet for the month of June?

According to information prepared by Osiptel, the operating company Clear had the best performance in the download speed indicator with 13.00 Mbps, followed by Entel (11.97 Mbps), Movistar (10.18 Mbps) and Bitel (9.08 Mbps). However, it reduced its performance compared to the previous month, while its closest rival decreased the difference by increasing its result.

Likewise, it reduced the existing delay time in favor of users to an average of 81.59 milliseconds (ms) for 4G networks. Clear leads this list with a latency of 78.17 ms. left behind Entel (79.38 ms), Movistar (79.59 ms) and Bitel (96.72 ms)companies that improved their performance in this indicator.

Which regions had the fastest internet?

According to Osiptel, tumbes remained the region with the best performance in the download speed indicator with 12.95 Mbps, followed by Moquegua (12.21 Mbps), Ica (12.02 Mbps), Callao (11.95 Mbps) and Lima (11.92 Mbps).

On the other hand, at the bottom of the ranking are Loreto (10.00 Mbps), San Martín (10.77 Mbps), Ayacucho (10.80 Mbps), Cusco (10.81 Mbps) and Áncash (10.88 Mbps).

However, only five regions were below the average delay. Lime, with a latency of 74.63 ms, in addition to the Callao (74.92 ms), Junín (78.41 ms), Ica (79.06 ms) and Pasco (81.00 ms) were the ones that have achieved the best performance in this measurement. Meanwhile, Loreto (102.72 ms), San Martín (97.56 ms), Amazonas (95.64 ms), Madre de Dios (94.55 ms) and Cajamarca (91.23 ms) obtained a higher score.
