Sunat: know the ranking of the 10 most debtor companies

Within the framework of the tax reform promoted by the Ministry of Economy, the National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat), established a ranking of the most debtor companies in the country. A few weeks ago, the Minister of Economy, Pedro Francke, mentioned that this reform seeks to generate a contribution with Peru, which currently suffers from an economy hit by the pandemic.

According to the information presented by the congresswoman Sigrid Bazan, the status of the companies and their indebtedness has an update as of November 22 of this year.

It should be noted that so far this year, there has been a recovery in the debt stock that has managed to exceed S / 6,500 million. Sunat has established that this figure is considered a record that exceeds the annual amounts reached to date.

In the first three positions is Telefónica del Perú, Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus and Johnston Sociedad Anónima Abierta and Scotiabank Perú, respectively. The highest figure is S / 4,974,979,509, which corresponds to the Peruvian telephone company.

Then followed by the Las Bambas mining companies, which have already been charged S / 685 million in the framework of a coercive collection process, together with the Antapaccay Mining Company. Both maintain a debt of S / 1 427 190 849 and S / 1 379 372 642 each.

Finally, in the lowest part of the ranking are the South Peruvian Gas Pipeline, Telefónica Móviles, Latam Airlines and Veta de Oro del Peru

The lowest figure is Telefonica Moviles (company absorbed by Telefónica del Perú) with S /. 577 879 792.
