During the past year, the profitability of three of the four funds managed by the AFPs dragged losses that affected only their affiliates.
On the other side of the coin, the administrators continued to receive strong income, to the point that their profits exceeded S/471 million, 13% higher than what was seen in 2020, according to the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and AFP (SBS).

Only funds 2 (-0.47%) and 3 (-0.92%) are close to recovering what was lost in 2022.
AFPs always win
The four administrators obtained a profit of S/248 million 367.000 during June of this year, which represents a growth of 12.4% compared to the same period of 2022, when the net profit was S/220 million 911,000.

Managed portfolio fell 8.9%
As of June 2023, the portfolio managed by the AFPs amounted to S/111,603 million, a decrease of 8.9% compared to the same month last year, which was S/121,498 million.
