Grilled Chicken Day: what are the promotions in the main chicken shops in Lima?

Within the framework of Grilled Chicken Day, restaurants and poultry shops received hundreds of people who came to enjoy this iconic dish of Peruvian cuisine and take advantage of special offers.

The expectation of sales also increased, as in the case of Norkys in the Rimac district, where it is estimated that around 860 chickens will be sold, serving approximately 3,000 to 4,000 people throughout the day, according to Christhian Gómez, chief of service of this establishment, in statements to La República.

For her part, Esther Mercado, Head of Marketing at La Leña Restaurantes, stressed that this date represents a great opportunity for poultry shops to increase their sales levels. “It is a day that allows us to increase sales and recover them, we managed to grow approximately 200% more than a usual Sunday, and (compared to) a holiday we managed to make almost 300% more sales,” she commented. .

Promotions for Grilled Chicken Day

Restaurants, to make the most of this date, have implemented various offers. Pollería Pardos on Avenida Salaverry in Jesús María sells chicken for S/80.90 and 1/4 for S/27.90. Only for this day the delivery is free and arrives in less than 60 minutes.

In the Corralito on José Gálvez avenue in La Victoria, the whole chicken is sold for S/66 and 1/4 for S/18. This chain gives away a quarter chicken.

For its part, D’Carbón in San Juan de Lurigancho sells the whole chicken for S/78.90. While the Leña del Jirón de la Unión in downtown Lima offers it for S/81 and the room for S/25.90.

Most of the restaurants consulted have faced difficulties in the supply of potatoes due to the 48-hour strike carried out by the merchants of the Great Wholesale Market of Lima on Friday and Saturday. However, they emphasize that they have managed to solve the problem and are operating normally today.
