➤ Who gets to receive the Christmas bonus for National Holidays?
According to the supreme decree, which dictates provisions for the granting of the Christmas bonus for National Holidays, this extra money will be deposited to officials, appointed and contracted servants who belong to the labor regime of Legislative Decree No. 276, Law No. 29944 and Law No. 30512. In the same way, they receive it:
- University professors of Law no. 30220
- Health personnel of Legislative Decree No. 1153, permanent and temporary workers in the public sector.
- Pensioners included in the regimes of Laws No. 15117 and 28091, in Supreme Decree No. 051-88-PCM, as well as Decree Laws No. 19846 and 20530.
- Personnel of the Armed Forces and the National Police of Peru.
➤ What is the amount of the bonus?
According to the norm, the amount set for this year is S/300, in accordance with the Public Budget Law for fiscal year 2023, which will be paid, only once, in the July payroll.

➤ What are the requirements to receive the Christmas bonus?
According to the Supreme Decree No. 150-2023-EF, public sector workers must meet these requirements to receive this year’s Christmas bonus:
- To have been working as of June 30, 2023, or using their vacation leave, paid leave or receiving the subsidies indicated by the Law on Modernization of Social Security in Health.
- Have an age of not less than three months as of June 30 of this year. If you do not comply with the indicated time, said concept is paid proportionally to the months and days worked.

As established in the supreme decree published by the MEF, Human Medicine and Dentistry interns will receive a bonus of S/100, within the framework of the Second Final Complementary Provision of Emergency Decree No. 016-2020, which does not is subject to social charges.
