Executive approved bonus of S/300 for National Holidays to public sector workers

The Executive approved, through the Supreme Decree No. 150-2023-EF, the delivery of the Christmas bonus for public sector workers for National Holidays. The fixed amount is S 300, which will be paid, only once, in the payroll for the month of July 2023.

This amount will benefit officials and servants appointed and hired under the labor regime of Legislative Decree No. 276, Law No. 29944 and Law No. 30512. University professors are also included (Law No. 30220), health personnel (Legislative Decree No. 1153), permanent and temporary workers in the public sector, personnel of the Armed Forces and the National Police of Peru, and pensioners included in the regimes of Law No. 15117, Decree Law No. 19846 and No. 20530, Supreme Decree No. 051-88-PCM and Law No. 28091. In addition, Human Medicine and Dentistry interns receive a bonus of S/100 .

It should be noted that this bonus does not apply to workers of the Public Administration under Regime 728.

What are the requirements to receive the Aguinaldo?

According to the Supreme Decree, workers must meet these two requirements in order to receive the economic benefit:

• To have been working as of June 30, 2023, or using vacation leave, paid leave or receiving the subsidies referred to in Law No. 26790, Law on Modernization of Social Security in Health.

• Employees must have a seniority of not less than three months as of June 30, 2023. If they do not comply with the aforementioned time, said concept is paid proportionally to the months and days worked.
