From January to June 2023, Ecuador generated revenue of $3,340,151,638.70 for the export of 54,176,855.85 barrels of Oriente and Napo crude oil, in addition fuel oil Not. 6, was announced by the state oil company EP Petroecuador.
From the realized sales, 47% correspond to short- and medium-term deliverieswhile 53 percent are sales under long-term contracts, it was stated.
Of the total income that the country received during these first six months, 56% corresponds to Oriente’s crude oil exports, equivalent to USD 1,877,710,599.5934% for Napo crude with USD 1,147,615,341.02 and 9% for fuel oil Not. 6 with $314,825,698.09.
“These resources derived from oil development contribute to the achievement of national goals for the benefit of the entire country. For this reason, the company works efficiently throughout the value chain and promotes actions that make the processes of buying and selling hydrocarbons transparent in the international market,” states Petroecuador.
During the first six months of 2023, the state oil company awarded awards five Oriente crude tenders and five Napo crude tenders.
