After almost three years of validity, the Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries seeks to update the National Aquaculture and Fisheries Sanitary Control Plan (PNCS), published through Ministerial Agreement MPCEIP-VAP-2020-0001-A, dated October 20, 2020.
The renewal of this regulation will be carried out by issuing a new agreement, Ministerial Agreement MPCEIP-VAP-2023-000X-A, but before the State Portfolio sends the draft text for public consultation.

This is because the PNCS must maintain a system of continuous improvement, in line with the national portfolio, which is why it needs to be updated to strengthen health and safety requirements, guidelines for regulating import and export activities to align with the new requirements of sanitary standards of different markets , as well as in the entire production chain of both sectors.
The ministry announced that the receipt of user comments will last from this Monday, July 3, until the following July 22 at the e-mail regulacionesci@producción.gob.ec.
