Lima climbs 5 places in the ranking of the most expensive cities worldwide

In the world, Hong Kong once again tops the rankings as the most expensive city, followed by Singapore, which jumped six positions from last year, and Switzerland appears in sequential positions with the cities of Zurich (3), Geneva (4) and Basel (5).

The least expensive locations in the ranking include Havana, which fell 83 places, blamed on sharp currency devaluations in the middle of last year; and two cities in Pakistan: Karachi and Islamabad.
