Let’s recover formal employment: August list for companies that will access subsidy came out

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) presented the new list of eligible employers, corresponding to August 2021, who qualified for the allocation of the subsidy that aims to recover formal employment in the private sector, created by Emergency Decree No. 127-2020.

Through Ministerial Resolution No. 003-2021-MTPE / 2, published in El Peruano, the corresponding amount for said concept was approved for the month of August, which is included as an annex that is an integral part of the aforementioned regulation.

All this in accordance with the program Let’s recover formal employment, established in paragraph 9.2 of article 9 of the aforementioned Emergency Decree No. 127-2020.

The legal device establishes that the employers included in this list manage the disbursement of the subsidy provided that, in advance, they accredit the fulfillment of the essential conditions in the Virtual Comprehensive Window of the Insured (VIVA) of the Social Health Security (Essalud).

“Entrust to the Directorate of Supervision and Evaluation of the General Directorate of Policies for the Promotion of Labor Formalization and Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, the referral to the Social Health Insurance – EsSalud of the list approved in article 1 of this vice-ministerial resolution ”, he points out.

The amount of the subsidy assigned to each company is calculated based on a percentage of the gross monthly salaries of discharged workers (new hires, returns of workers from the perfect suspension or from the leave without any benefits) and discharged, provided that their salaries do not exceed 2,400 soles.

The resolution that establishes the new list of employers eligible for this subsidy has the signature of the Vice Minister of Labor, Edilberto Sergio Jaime Ríos.
