At 9:30 am, the greenback on the parallel market was trading at S/ 3.9200 for purchase and S/ 3.9600 for sale. For its part, in the banking market it was bought at S/ 3.9110 and sold at S/ 3.9960 at the Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP) windows.

The day before, the dollar depreciated globally due to negative data from the manufacturing sector in the United States; as well as by the decision of the central banks to continue raising the interest rate, in order to curb the inflation that currently exists.

On the local stage, the winners of the regional and municipal elections at the national level were known. Thus, Rafael López Aliaga is the virtual mayor of Metropolitan Lima with more than 97% of records recorded, according to the National Organization for Electoral Processes (ONPE).
