At 9:30 am, the greenback on the parallel market was trading at S/ 3.9200 for purchase and S/ 3.9600 for sale. For its part, in the banking market it was bought at S/ 3.9110 and sold at S/ 3.9960 at the Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP) windows.
The day before, the dollar depreciated globally due to negative data from the manufacturing sector in the United States; as well as by the decision of the central banks to continue raising the interest rate, in order to curb the inflation that currently exists.
