Alex Contreras, Minister of Economy and Finance, reported this Wednesday that the Government will extend the term until September for companies to reschedule the loans granted in Reactive Peru.
“A very important emergency decree has been approved to extend the rescheduling term of Reactiva Peru for three months, which expired tomorrow (June 29). There is the possibility that the different companies affected by the shocks can reschedule their debts until September,” said the head of the MEF.
Besides, the amount of the Impulso Myperú program was raised to S/3,000 million, which provided guarantees of up to S/2,000 million.
The greater disposition of resources will help the reactivation of more than 200,000 mypes — before it was expected to reach only 140,000 small businesses —.
In addition, Contreras Miranda assured that also “special auctions will be held so that financial institutions not only lend to their clients”, but also buy debts and finance new businesses.
