The payment of Fertiabonus for farmers with up to 10 hectares of crops will start tomorrow, September 30, nationwideaccording to sources of Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri).
The subsidy that will finance the purchase of fertilizers from small farmers will be delivered through the National bankwho will be able to check from today if they are beneficiaries through the official platform, whose link will launch the Midagri this afternoon.
Last week the Midagri approved the list of beneficiaries monetary support, the same as through the Directorate for Policy Monitoring and Evaluation (PEMS) was forwarded to Agrobank for the corresponding procedures.
The current list includes farmers registered in the Register of Agricultural Producers (PPA) until August 31 this year. These will receive monetary support that starts from S/ 498 to S/ 7,747 depending on the extension of their crops.
It should be noted that the Fertiabonus emerged as an alternative to solve the fertilizer crisis after three failed processes by the Government for the purchase of urea from an international supplier.
