The Plenary of Congress approved this Wednesday, June 21, an opinion that guarantees the partial return of the Fonavi contributions.
With 112 votes in favour, the parliamentarians supported the text of the Economy Commission, which guarantees the delivery of a certain amount of contributions but does not prevent later crediting of larger amountsconsidering that there is a regulatory trap since “there is no full compliance of all the amounts” to be paid.
Rosangella Barbarán, president of the Economic Commission, pointed out that the ad hoc commission will have a maximum of 120 days to issue the recognition certificates so that the Fonavistas receive their money.
The relatives of a fonavista will also be allowed to access the contributions, for them it will only be enough to have the right to inherit registered in Public Records.
And priority will be given to those Fonavista members over the age of 65, as well as those registered with Conadis and who have a serious or terminal illness (heirs also qualify to meet these requirements).
